National cuisine of different countries depends on geographical position of the country, its culture and history. Britain is marine country and there for traditional food of Britain is ‘fish & chips’. Ireland is a country of sheep and vegetables, that is why they cook ‘Irish Stew’. In the USA people eat burgers and fries because its made from beef. Maple tree is a sympol of Canada. That is why Canadian people eat pancakes with maple syrup for breakfast or dinner.National cuisine of Britain is very traditional.For breakfast they prefer porridge,becon&eggs or tost with jam. For lunch they enjoy eating soup or salad,or cakes with tea or juice. Dinner is usually served between six and eight o’clock in the evening. Typical food for dinner is fish & chips or bangers and mash, porkchop or roast beef with gravy.For dessert they have pudding or fruits. The British are tealovers. That’s why we have to go to a school canteen to have lunch. Our school canteen leaves much to be desired.
